Comments
Extremely variable snow. Rock hard windslab to powder. No whumpfing or cracks but did kick off a tiny windslab skinning up some 30ish deg terrain. Wind was strong up towards the ridge. Some people skiing the short, steepish headwall on the initial bumps of the ridge, didn't get to chat but didn't bother as the approach was rocky and figured it was hit or miss with the windslab.
Creek crossings are now very much in though, compared to last week 🤙
