Comments
Better than expected day in Hasler 30-50cm over lies the Dec 6th crust. We found areas of good riding and pockets of wind slabs, we triggered a small slope on an incised gully feature. HS was 180 but average HS in the area was 120cm. We did an extended column test near the avalanche and got ECTP12 on facets above the crust.
Weather: day was warm started sunny but got cloudier as the day went on light south west winds through the day. High of +2 at 1600m and snow starting to fall off the trees on solar aspects.
Trail conditions: Fresh groom on the hasler trail. Front bowls are starting to get tracked out but still good pockets of fresh to be found if you hunt for them.
Happy holidays!
