Comments
Plan A was to get to have half dome and ski into the burn but went to plan B given the amount of wind loading observed under the saddle and in the burn. Plan B was Black Queen and the riding was very good. The snow was sheltered down low. We were able to release small wind slabs just below the ridge line. Solar crust was present in open fields as we rode back into the resort at the end of the day.
