An epic adventure up the little Brew’s with an epic crew! Huge approach to the goods, deep trail breaking, and unforgiving alder down low. @ 1800 as we gained the ridge we experienced a Whompf. Dug a quick test pit, CTV down 40 while cutting the column. Opted to rip skins and not venture further into the open ridge line above the burn.
The snow was DEEP! Light, and fun. 40 - 50cm’s of wind transported snow into the sparse and open trees allowing for face shots and smiles!
