Comments
Went exploring on less than 25 degree slopes to check out conditions. In cutblocks the snow was wind affected and had multiple whumphs observed. Observed moderate shooting cracks; after the largest whumph, the slab cracked on either side of anchoring trees above us. Cracks were about 1 metre long. Avoided all avalanche terrain. Whumphs observed at 1600 metres and observed on northeast aspect on a cutblock
