Numa NNE

Skiied the most northerly slide gully on Numa, but skied in not from ridge top via the trees and then cut into the line. Sunshine and gentle W winds while on the true N ridge climb. moderate cornices on the E side of this N ridge on the climb and bullet proof snow and sastrugi if you ventured too far W off of the north line. Reasonable travel staying on the ridge between both. Cornices were not too large are were well supported (not overhung really). When on the E side of the ridge snow was soft, but if climbing too steeply the tails of your skis would penetrate the snow into facets below and I found myself sitting on my own track. Set the track for the upper part of the ridge as previously one was only a tell tale sign.
