Comments
Generally good ice conditions with minor dinner plating. Over on the right side Sean was kind enough to leave us room to play in the groove and on the steeper pillar. Groove had good pro except for one screw which hit some air. Pillar was a little gonging at the base but better higher. Some hanging ice on the left but looked reasonably stable under the conditions.
Over on the left the gully routes converge at the top but visually the ice looks in reasonable shape. May require some ice fall management if there were 2 parties there.
Sunny weather with some clouds. Winds were quite strong at times down low. Lots of wind and snow transport up high in the alpine. Fairly warm temps making pleasant climbing.
