Surprise Pass

Surprise Pass (both sides) has a bit of wind affect, still very skiable. In the last 24hrs there was a sz 2 Na windslab out of a side gulley scrubbing to ground and depositing a few microwave sized boulders in the middle right hand ski line, might be something to consider when those are disguised by new snow or flat light. The bottom 150m are choked with hard avi debris pushing you out into the alders. Variable snow structure in the main ski line from firm, but quite skiable slough debris to settling storm slab over hollow facets to very hard wind slabs. Most the avi paths on the circuit up ran during the storm (and pushed over some small trees) though the last climb to the pass doesn't seem to have run.
