Comments
Saddled up for our first ride of the season! Trail was in surprisingly excellent condition making for some fun road riding out to the cabin. Approx 80cm of snow around 1800m. Resistant planer results on CT down 60 on surface hoar/facets combo. Tiptoed through some very bony off-trail riding into the upper Rolling Hills meadows. Not surprised to find the usual wind affect typical of that area: rode over a small windlip and had immediate shooting cracks wrapping around entire feature plus further similar as we traveled back down out of exposed terrain into the trees. Raining lightly in staging area when we got back. #goodtimesoutside
