Poked around Fraser Ridge this morning and found some deep trail breaking. This past three days we have had 20cm's of new snow and today it was warm and made it feel heavier than it was yesterday. At 1100m we had a temperature of -0.5 mid day, warm temperatures always have us looking for hazard above us... including giant snow mushrooms! The new snow is starting to change from light powder to heavier and starting to react a little more like a slab.
