Comments
Skipped the gigantic gondola line at SSV and went up Healy creek. Absolutely nobody to be seen throughout the day! There's a track going up Healy ridge line and up Y drainage. We scoped Big V and dug a pit at 2400m - HS165cm. Got CT27 SP down on the Dec layer, but ECTN. Big V also ran almost to the skin track during the last big cycle, and was untracked (until today at least). Really good conditions - some thinner areas to watch out for. No instabilities noted throughout the day. Winds were calm, sun was out all day but no sloughing observed.
