Crater Lake to Linderman Cabin

• 30cm + of new snow, or significant drifting, or rain in the last 48 hours.

Skied from Crater Lake to Linderman Cabin.

Very strong SW winds throughout Saturday evening and into Sunday morning. Significant amount of wind transport occurred and estimated 30 cms of snow fell but it was hard to tell exactly with the amount of wind transport.

Dense, wind affected snow found throughout the Alpine/TL valley bottom travel on Sunday. No avalanche debris observed on lower slopes that we traveled under.

Dropping into the trees the snow became increasingly heavy with facets below which made for difficult trail breaking.

No whumpfing, cracking or slab avalanches observed throughout the day.
