3-5cm of storm snow today being pushed into windslabs over near surface facets and surface hoar at TL and alpine elevations. Thin soft slabs showing shooting cracks and surface facet/fresh combo moving on steeper slopes. Ski conditions still very good with ski penetration from 15-20cm on northern aspects. Facet layer down 70-80cm appears to be tightening up but much will depend on how much precipitation this storm brings. Temps remaining brisk and most fresh snow are needle grains which is helping the wind push them into soft slabs...
