Comments
Great snow today in the bowl above the cabin at Hankin. Most of the snow was wind affected, and there was cross loading from the west on the ridges inside of the bowl, but there were a few lines between with nice powder.
Wind affected areas had a wind skin about 5 cm thick.
There is a good size cornice in the middle of the bowl with evidence of sloughing over the past week that we steered clear of. We also stayed off the cross loaded areas and convexities.
There was some loose dry slough that ran down our first run.
We skied on April 4th - App won't let me select today's date.
