• Rapid temperature rise to near or above 0°C or wet surface snow.

Depressing conditions check up Cokely today. We lost a lot of snowpack (probing around 100 cm at top of treeline) and what's left is absolutely saturated. We didn't see much evidence of the wet loose cycle but it's possible some of that evidence melted away after 100+ mm of rain. Below treeline is once again below threshold for avalanches.

Sled staging is much higher now, at the smiley rock past 6km. Plenty of bare road around the saddle trailhead and ski hill gate.
