Bow Hut Weekend - Spent a couple of nights at Bow Hut, quite good for November. It snowed all day Friday, at times heavy, moderate winds. Mod winds Saturday, trace amounts of snow, high winds Sunday, no new snow. Lots of snow transport all weekend but we didn't find as much windslab as we expected. Canyon had good coverage, and Bow Lake is now good to cross (at least 20cm thick in the middle). Probed ~170cm on the toe of the glacier, shrinking to ~130cm at 2700m up on the ice-field. Travel up there was effort with all of the fresh snow. Ski quality was generally good everywhere, still lots of rocks hiding. Didn't see a whole lot for natural avalanche activity considering the amount of new snow and wind, of note a size 2 out of extreme terrain below Vulture peak, a size 2 from a cornice fall off of the Onion, and a size 1 loose dry/soft slab into the canyon.
