• Rapid temperature rise to near or above 0°C or wet surface snow.

Excellent snow on N aspects.

Ventured onto a S slope in the afternoon and found wet snow. felt a whumpf and some shooting cracks and reversed the skin track back to shaded slopes.

A breakable crust is forming below 1700m due to the warm air temps
