Comments
20 cm new, relatively low density snow overnight produced natural D1 sluffs. Yesterday’s storm snow has consolidated into a soft crust on solar aspects or up to 2300 m on northerlies. Minor cracking in the new snow and we rode steep terrain with no other instabilities except sluffing. Some light wind affect near ridge tops.
