Pretty quiet day around the 10 k cabin. The surface was frozen on the way in but turned to isothermal schmoo after lunch on solar aspects. Large tracts of snow are melting out and dirt is starting to make an appearance on south and west facing aspects, even at treeline. We had good views and did not see any new avalanche activity. The snow surface on north facing terrain at 1800 m was wet, but it remained supportive. While there *may* be some cold snow left high in the Superbowl, it feels like the end of the season is rapidly approaching in this part of the world.
