Comments

Lots of medium size wet loose/sluffing from point releases such as cornice and rocks from the tuesday warm temperatures left semi-hard debris all over all aspects.

Skiing was okay in the two main chutes on steep peak ridge yesterday and today with some interesting ice/snow chunks navigation. Saturday was warmer and made skiing much more enjoyable with very small pinwheling below 2000m at 13:00

No signs of slab avalanches a size 1 at the bottom of peak 2318 at the lake, crown of maybe 5 to 15cm, 10m large, ran 20m at 1800m SW(ish).

Definitely more worried to break my knee on a hidden hard ice shark than any avalanche danger in these 2 days. A few good turns at higher elevation.
