Comments
We observed about 6 natural avalanches on the south west facing shoulder of Mount Joffre - seen from upper Joffre lake, triggered in the afternoon sun. Avalanches varied in size from 1 to 2. We also heard what sounded like larger avalanches on the NE side of Mt Joffre.
