Comments

We only had minor surface sluffing on the steeps where we skied.
The avalanche was triggered by a cornice failure.
The avalanche likely occurred a few days ago judging by the amount of drifted snow filling in part of the crown.
Part of the track. We didn't see the toe of the slide.
Notice the gaping crack in the cornice at the top of the image.
