Comments
Great season opener. The ski track up Balu is in surprisingly good shape IMO given the later start to the season - no major ruts or holes.
We got up to ~2600m, and noticed small 3-5cm wind slab formation on SW-SE aspects. No reactivity to ski cuts. Snowpack is right-side up and felt very supportive - riding quality was great.
Report was Sunday, Nov 6th
