Comments
Went up to the Swiss glacier with low hopes of skiing the S couloir. As soon as we hit treeline elevation, cold mod winds from the east appeared, along with a mix of wind crusts, slabs and sastrugi. Swiss glacier has 1-3m of snow atop the ice and many visible crevasses. We turned around on the glacier due to the obvious mediocrity of the conditions, but the sun was shining and the views delivered. Below TL, we found good settled powder.
