Comments

Skied FHR, travel was pretty fast down low in the valleys but we broke trail up higher on the glacier due to 5cm fresh snow with some wind. 10-15cm low density snow up high made for decent skiing. We saw a bunch of sluffing out of steep polar terrain when the wind picked up and evidence of old wet loose off all the rocky steep solar faces. Got one whumph skinning up towards the Robertson col when the terrain steepened slightly. Definitely some windslabs forming in the alpine with the wind, we got some cracking in direct lees on fairly mellow slopes. We also probed 340cm on the Haig near the French col and the snowpack felt right side up.
