Comments
Today we went to Barkerville to check out the scene. A thin layer of cloud limited the effect the sun had on the snow, so loose wet avalanches weren't a concern. We found a north facing bowl that looked like a fun place to ski. We confirmed there was a supportive crust at our elevation and the persistant week layer was not present. We enjoyed some steep turns, and toured back to our sleds in the sun.
