Comments

At 2100m north aspect skier controlled size2. Fracture line ranged in depth from 30cms to 90 (est.), 40m wide and ran 150-200m. It had an unsupported character immediately lee of the ridge and was initiated by a chunk of cornice that was dropped. It had impressive debris well over 1.5m deep. We skied adjacent to it on well supported features. Variable windslabs present in the mid slope too. No other reactivity during steep open tree skiing.
