Comments
Good early season snow in Connaught Creek. Random probing in Ursus trees showed between 50cm and 70cm of snow. There are still some open creeks and rocks poking out.
We could see some wind effect in the alpine all the way to Cheops N and Balu pass. Hospital bowl was a soft (F to 4F) wind slab that skied very well.
Hospital gullies were similar to Ursus trees and we had some fun turns albeit some logs and alder slapping at the end.
No avalanches or instabilities observed, but we could hear the avalanche control along the highway. 💣🏔️
