Comments
Skied up to Longworth fire lookout and had above freezing temperatures up to 1500m. Above that found significant wind effect even in moderately spaced trees BT. Skied sheltered North aspects but still couldn't hide from the crusty conditions.
Day two, traversed to Longworth Peak by following the ridge and found either wind crust or a sun crust on south aspects. No signs of avalanche activity or instability other than glide cracks on steep open slopes.
