Avalanche occurred 2020.02.23. SW aspect of Pharaoh Peak, Banff NP. Avalanche ran approx. 700m, Crown was approx. 150m wide, Depth was variable from 30-100 cm, bed-surface was mostly ground. Party of 4 was boot-packing to gain Pharaoh Peak ridge, crown broke near ridge top. Party was close together at time of incident but all members slid various lengths (100-450m), and all ended up on top.
