On Friday we headed towards Pattison, but then bailed due to extremely flat light that persisted at higher elevations for most of the day. On the boot pack to Trorey Side, we found mostly unconsolidated blower pow, and far less wind affect than anticipated, although there were occasional patches of wind Slab down 30-40com. The snow became slightly crusty on lower Anvil, below say 1900m
