Comments
Skied from 1700 m to 1450 NW aspect down to hanging lake in boot deep powder, skiing was great. A bit of sloughing on the way down.
The gully below gin peak at 1600 was very wind affected, with a punchy 5 cm crust. Saw debris of a .5 on the W slope under gin peak.
Heading up the eastern side of hanging lake around 1pm we noticed some sugary snow and snow was starting to fall from the trees.
Skiing down from 1500 SW aspect, snow was heavy.
The way up is full of creak crossings.
