Skier trigger size 1 slab dry avalanche running 40 down on facets between new snow and old wind slab. Despite contrary belief the Nov 5th crust was stable below. This interface was new snow and old settled storm snow overlying windslabs above the Nov 5th crust. The dense slab has not bonded well to the underlying windslabs in that area at this time and was reactive to skier traffic on unsupported features above chutes at tree line. Slow moving.
