Dug a pit during AST 1 course in core lodge area in valley east of Terminator. Light snow today. Lightly snowing with 5 cm of fresh sitting on 25cm of four finger hardness that was reacting on the medium range. CTM14 down 30 SP on facets 2mm. With a good snowpack down to the early Nov rain crust down at 82cm reacting in hard range. CTH 26 down 82 cm RP on 1cm thick rain crust.
ECTH26 down 82 sudden drop below range crust and sometimes reacting on ground level.

Be aware of wind transport of fresh powder areas and persistent weak layer at 30 cm and 82 cm down.
