Comments
Went for a mellow, rest day, checking the conditions up at the Sea To Sky Gondola area. The Skyline Ridge trail has open creeks every 50-100m that require taking skis on/off right after crossing the bridge over Shannon Creek. The Sky Pilot Valley trail has better coverage with no open creeks. On this trail, right after the End of Marked Trail sign, Exit Gully and Home Run Gully had avalanche debris. Skinning and skiing after the groomed trail ends was pretty tricky, with a solid surface crust. Things seem better above 1500m.
