-15c morning out to Tim Jones Peak. Steady moderate northeast winds, widespread sastrugi at ridgetop features. Pockets of powder in sheltered SW slopes at treeline. Breakable crust to firm on south aspects. Stiff wind slabs on steeper SW and NW features. Shooting crack (1-2 m) in 1F wind slab on steeper unsupported feature while skinning along ridge.
