Comments

Went to check out the Paget chutes on the east side of Sherbrooke lake. Multiple recent avalanches on the Ogden side, white knight area slide, a couple in the trees on that side, the main Ogden slide path looked like it was close to hitting the lake. A couple of crowns in the Ogden benches and the ski down in the Xmas trees from the benches. We had a couple whoomphs skiing across the lake and then shortly after turning uphill to ski towards the chutes we had a large whoomph and settlement that shook the snow off the trees all around me and travelled far. We dug a pit and had a CTM 17 on the SH layer down 75cm. The upper snow pack was very moist and appeared rain soaked for 10-15cm with 15cm of fresh on top. Assuming it rained yesterday. There was a small skier accidental in the paget glades w another party.
