Comments
Up to ~10cm of ski penetration - less in the alpine. Good snow in the trees/shade, but anything in the sun had anything from a barely detectable sun skin to 1cm of easily breakable sun crust. We primarily tried to ski more shaded aspects in the interests of skinning and riding quality.
