Comments

We have witnessed an avalanche coming down like a wave, with 3 hikers close by. A lady with a dog was able to hide underneath rock and was able to stay safe, the other couple was just a few meters always Where the avalanche came down, about 20 min prior, there were 4 girls with a dog hiking. It was all a big near miss with potential death. The avalanche had heavy, wet snow with tons of big rocks falling, flying down. It was pretty scarry to see. A second smaller avalanche came down about 5 min later, it was smaller and in a different location.
