Went for a walk to check out snow on the north shore / HSCT via Mount Harvey. Gives a little window to what's happening out there. Snowline rose compared to last week to approx 1250m ASL and still very thin in the trees. Above 1300m at treeline or in sparsely treed areas, snow depth on average was 20-45cm of consolidated, moist snow. Boot pen to ground. As of 230PM there was barely a dusting of snow pellets, not even enough to fully cover the surface.
