poked around the mosquito creek area and it's still early season out there. the snowpack was 60-100 cm at tree line, 3/4 of which was unconsolidated (in non-exposed areas) storm snow overlaying a facet layer. there was some slab development with a few shooting cracks in more exposed areas at treeline.
the snowpack wasn't supportive at all, which made for tough travel and a few shark bites.
