Comments
Cloud cover was in and out throughout the day, with a couple flurries in the afternoon. The snow near hanging lake and on the ascent up the southwest flank of Rainbow was quite nice, and would have made for good skiing. Did a lap down the north glacier, which was quite wind scoured, though no signs of crevasses. Went out via the east glacier, again saw no open crevasses but had to navigate around some icefalls. The snow seemed stable and unreactive, no sign of avalanches throughout the day.
