Comments

We initally tried to go up the East aspect of Log Cabin, but navigating through the alders proved difficult so we went up the cut-line. There is a nice accumulation of new snow in the trees, not too heavy powder but one needs to find a steep enough aspect to enjoy it... Above tree-line, the snow quickly changed into wind slab (5 cm) and eventually wind crust. We stopped when the snow turned too crusty, about midway between the dense tree line and the last open trees.
