Joined a baker's dozen or so of other people today at surprise pass. Somehow managing to all arrive at the pass at the same time despite our various group speeds. There were a few small sluffs of dry loose in steeper high sections of various av paths along the route that did not carry very far. Side hilling was miserable in many spots. Bootpack up the pass was A+, thanks to the last weekend army for putting in the stairs. Unfortunately the ski down remained fairly terrible. Great views though!
