Initially dropped off the back side of parachute bowl along the saddle. Top was very icy wind blown, lower was heavy. Skins on and up to the saddle, up over east peak into smokers bowl where a quick pit was dug giving hard results. 2 clear slide surfaces in the column test but neither wanted to trigger easily. We skied avoiding convex and top cornices, snow in smokers bowl was excellent quality with no signs of instability. Great riding conditions on a sunny day
