Comments

We traveled a short distance up Connaught to get used to our ski boots again, heading up hill before the Frequent Flyer avalanche path on the same side of the valley. Trail breaking was tedious with a ski penetration of about 40cm, especially below 1600m where skis would get caught below the crust that sits below the new storm snow. The snow was about 105cm deep at 1800m and dry down to the parking lot. The snow surface was wind affected in open areas, with continued wind through the day.
