Comments

Rode amazing overhead japow style snow in the sky pilot zone. Many small slabs had released down 10-40cm either by point or slab release. None of the major avalanche paths reaching the lower skin track appear to have popped in the last few days. They were looking extremely well loaded though. Day was cold. Snow was bottomless. Openings in the trees excess of 30 degrees were ski cutting easily and producing soft slabs.
