Comments
140cm where we dug a pit and did a compression test and extended column test on a north/west facing slope. Small amount of compression 15cm down on tap number 12, but no propagation across the extended column. On tap 28 the CT failed 85 cm down with Q2 shear quality. With the extended column test, this same layer failed after 30 taps, on tap 31(quite a bit harder of a tap than 30), and propagated across the column. We still felt pretty good about the conditions, but were conscious of that weak layer.
