Comments
Was about 10 degrees at 1000m and above. I was sweating.... in a tshirt! Very warm day. No wind at all. Riding wasn’t worth the trip (though we were also into a nice sunny hike) especially since the road isn’t skinnable till long after the trail splits Harvey/lion - almost to the clear cut. Snow was a little crusty on top at highest elevation but very rideable - just super heavy. Was like glue on the base and skins.
Older avalanches visible on west Lion’s Northen slopes. Lots of pinwheels and tiny wet point releases on Harvey’s south side.
