Went for a hike up to Mt Anderson.Temps at Annie Lake -4 but temps at trailhead for Mt Anderson -19. Wheaten River partially frozen. At the plateau there was about 14 cms of snow but expect more now with yesterdays big dump - dry and faceting with sh below treeline. Weather station looked ok - not rimed. As a note - very large and fresh grizzly bear tracks part way up trail. By the tracks i think we unintentionally disturbed a standoff between a couple of moose and the bear...saw the moose...
